Best Execution Workshop

Overview

The FCA rules relating to Best Execution cover all ‘financial instruments’. Firms must establish and implement a Best Execution Policy, setting out details of how Best Execution will be achieved.

The course is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the current FCA rules, and the obligations that are imposed on regulated firms. You will be shown what needs to be considered as content for a Best Execution Policy and which would stand Regulatory scrutiny.

The course will cover in detail the Best Execution rules, including relationships with all clients including Professionals. The course will set out how a firm complies with its ‘Obligation’ to provide its clients with Best Execution as well as illustrating what a Best Execution Policy might look like.

Who is this for?

Anyone involved in, or responsible for client contracts, terms of business and the execution of orders will need to understand the impact of compliance with these rules and the implications for changes to policy and documentation.
